An iPhone 7 exploded on a approach to a new owner, according to a Reddit user who posted images of a charred phone’s scale online.
Reddit user Kroopthesnoop said that his coworker’s iPhone 7 Plus arrived blackened, damaged apart, and totally destroyed. The colleague purported that a phone exploded inside a wrapping before he unwrapped it.
“An Account Exec from Apple’s Texas offices only reached out to me (verified around LinkedIn), seeking for information around this post. Ended adult giving them coworker’s hit information,” a Reddit user wrote.

The photos uncover a phone’s packaging, that appears to have been punctured and burnt. The phone also has a vast hole on a back.
It comes only days after Samsung released a remember of a Galaxy Note 7 devices, as there were reports that batteries were exposed to overheating and even throwing fire. The inclination have also exploded—mostly when a phone is on and charging.
